Treat Others the Way You Want to Be Treated
A server comes to the table, greets you politely and waits on you. You as the customer now have to respond and I believe you should respond with the same amount of respect that your server is giving you. There are some really rude people out there and every once in awhile they should take a step back and look at how they are treating others and how they would feel if someone was treating them that way.

A Tip?
Did you know that minimum wage of a server is $2.13 an hour? Employers must pay their servers at least $2.13 and hour, and most servers are only paid the minimum. Servers make their money from the tips they earn. Some people don't realize this is how it works, so some people don't tip. When you go out to eat you should be prepared to tip your server 15-20% of your bill. It is just common courtesy, a server is taking their time to wait on you so it is expected you compensate them for that time.

Waitress For Awhile
I started waiting tables when I was 15 years old. You would not believe some of the stuff waitresses put up with. Anywhere from bratty kids to the elderly asking you to cut their meat, I've seen it all. That's what this blog is mainly going to be about, my everyday experiences and some of my bizarre stories from the past.
